Solstice at acmi 2026

Solstice had the honor of being selected as the resident ensemble for the Akropolis Chamber Music Institute this summer, held at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan. Over one week, Solstice had a coaching with each member of Akropolis, one-on-one lessons, workshops with Akropolis’ Operations & Development Manager Deanna Sirkot, and a meeting with Grammy winning composer & Guggenheim Fellow Pascal Le Beouf. Solstice also performed a full recital at the Music House Museum for the students of ACMI and the community of Traverse City. Many thanks to the Interlochen Public Radio for recording the concert! Solstice wrapped up their residency with a recording session lead by Matt Landry of Akropolis, and performed Nataraja by Alan Theisen at the final showcase concert.
